Cheverly Village welcomes Bridget Small from the Federal Trade Commission who will offer tips on how to respond to phone and online scammers who want to steal your sensitive information. Join us to learn how to recognize and avoid scammers who pretend to be Social Security staff, computer support help, or even someone you know. You will also learn how to block unwanted calls on cell phones and landlines, dodge new scams related to stimulus payments and vaccine enrollment, and report problems to the FTC to help investigations. There will be time for questions. All are welcome.
Your registration confirmation email includes the Cheverly Village Zoom link.
