Carian Gray, Adult and Senior Services Specialist at the Prince George's County Memorial Public Library System (PGCMLS) invites you to explore a world of entertainment, information, and community all without leaving home. Multi-generational, accessible, and empowering, PGCMLS offers a huge collection of online resources. Did you know you can get a library card online? Listen to music, practice a language, learn a craft, research your family history, read newspapers and magazines?Ms. Gray will answer questions on how to access digital resources, including how to borrow an ebook or audiobook through Overdrive, plus information on Books By Mail, and the Senior Readers' Advisory.
Carian Gray aka “Carian the librarian” is the Adult and Senior Services Specialist for Prince George’s County Memorial Library System, where her primary duties are facilitating the Books By Mail service and curating programming. For the last 10 years at PGCMLS, Carian has found joy in connecting the community to library services. She also serves on the board of directors for the Prince George’s Senior Provider Network (PGSPN). As a lover of the arts, Carian enjoys entertaining people through spoken word, acting and comedy. Whether it is talking about library resources, providing great customer service, or entertaining an audience, she has a heart for meeting the needs of people and providing a great experience with creative flair.
