Re-discover the simple pleasures of a scenic trip through the countryside in Autumn as Croom Road winds through southern Prince George's County to bring you to Robin Hill Farm & Vineyards. You will find well spaced, easily accessible outdoor and covered veranda type seating from which to soak up the farm atmosphere and live music, while enjoying your picnic lunch with or without a glass of wine Individual, self-guided Wine Tasting Kits ($15) are available to bring to your table in keeping with safe Covid practices. Amish cheese blocks, cheese platters, and various snacks are also for sale, as well as a food truck.
After leaving the urban Upper Marlboro area there are eleven miles of country roads to follow at a leisurely pace, so allow another 30 minutes of driving time (total time 50 minutes). Rides and carpooling will be managed according to needs of those attending so you must register. Suggested leave time from Cheverly is 1:00 PM with an allowance of up to two hours spent at Robin Hill. Return time to Cheverly is flexible according to your carpooling partners.
