This Sunday, March 19, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., the Cheverly Village Board of Directors will consider the election of new and returning members. The slate includes three new board members, a former member with an interest in returning to board service, and two members eligible for a second term. All Cheverly Village Board members are unpaid volunteers and participate as a “working board” in support of Village members, volunteers, and community. Cheverly Village Board members can serve two, two-year terms before they must rotate off the Board of Directors for at least one year before seeking re-election.
