Cheverly Village is taking the initiative to form a walking group that will meet once a week to walk on the comfortable, cushioned indoor track at the Sports and Learning Center.  It is an easy walk for someone using a cane. There is elevator access to the tract and admission is free from 8 AM to Noon.   

As more endurance and confidence is gained, the group can plan adventures to some of the  walking trails in the area like the ones at Lake Artemesia in College Park, Buddy Attick Lake Park around Greenbelt Lake, or the walkway from Bladensburg Waterfront Park to Kennilworth Aquatic Park and Gardens.  

 

At the moment we are able to provide rides for up to 6 persons.  Call the Coordinator to request a ride.
