Beautiful Montpelier Mansion in Laurel, Maryland conducts guided tours for groups of 7-10 persons with reservations. It is a lovely time of the year for an outing to see the Mansion and the grounds. There is an option of staff guided powerpoint presenation for anyone who is not able to walk the guided tour. There are three steps to access one area of the first floor and full flight of stairs to the second floor.
After the tour, we have the perfect opportunity to enjoy a delicious lunch at the Mad Cow Grill in Laurel. The restaurant has a large outdoor seating area and is easily accessible; no steps. The Mad Cow Grill is owned by Chef Neville Nugent, who is not only an excellent chef but also a Cheverly Village member who many of you may know. Members and volunteers, please RSVP for this event by September 12th indicating your attendance for both the tour and the lunch or only for the tour. Transportation arrangements will be made when the number of participants are known. Plan to leave Cheverly at 11 AM.
Admission fee for the Mansion is $4.00.
