The New York Avenue Presbyterian Church and the McClendon Scholar Program host a presentation by their summer resident scholar, Dr. Judy Fentress-Williams who will lecture on the topic “Dinah and the Shechemite Women: The Body Politic”. The lecture will focus on the disturbing story of Dianh in Genesis 34. Joining her in conversation after her presentation will be Rev. Bill Lamar, pastor of Washington DC Metropolitan AME Church. The lecture will be held in the sanctuary of the church on Saturday morning, and the program will also be available via webinar.
